The Path to Closing

The 10-business-day timeline.

Holidays and weekends don’t count — only business days. Here’s how the ten move.

Day 1

Kickoff

Signed application & disclosures in, appraisal paid, authorization to order it confirmed.

Day 4

Appraisal

Acceptable appraisal received no later than Day 4. A $175 rush fee may apply.

Days 5-6

Verify

Automated asset & income verification; conditions cleared as they’re requested.

Days 7–8

Approval

Final underwriting approval; closing documents prepared and disclosures issued.

Day 10

Close

Sign electronically and close. Keys in hand — a perfect 10.

Business days only | Appraisal due by Day 4 | Weekends & holidays excluded

When the clock starts

The 10 business days begin once all preliminary documentation is received, the loan application and required disclosures are signed and returned, the appraisal is paid, and we’ve confirmed authorization to order it. Holidays and weekends do not count as a business day.
